Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Mareva helps you understand healthcare billing documents and prepare your own communication drafts (such as dispute letters, appeal letters, and phone scripts). It uses automated AI analysis to explain documents and identify possible issues to review.

Mareva is not a healthcare provider, insurance company, law firm, or medical billing agency, and does not provide medical, legal, or financial advice. The service is for informational and organizational purposes only. It does not create a provider-patient, attorney-client, or fiduciary relationship. Always verify information with your provider, insurer, or a qualified professional before acting.

Results depend on your specific situation and are not guaranteed. We do not promise any bill reduction, refund, insurance approval, or other outcome. Possible savings figures and risk scores are estimates, not assurances.

• You are responsible for reviewing all outputs before using or sending them.
• You decide what to send, to whom, and when. You send communications yourself.
• You confirm you have the right to upload the documents you submit and that the information you provide is accurate.
• You will not rely on the service as a substitute for professional advice.

The basic scan is free. A full report is a one-time charge of $49 per case, processed securely through Stripe. Prices may change for future purchases.

Because a full report is generated and delivered digitally on demand, purchases are generally non-refundable once the report has been generated — except where the product is defective (for example, a report that fails to generate or a corrupted file), or as otherwise required by applicable consumer-protection laws. If something went wrong with your purchase, contact us at support@mareva.ai and we will make it right.

You agree not to:

• Upload documents you do not have the right to submit.
• Use the service for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful.
• Attempt to breach security, access other users' data, or disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
• Use automated means to abuse, overload, or scrape the service.

You keep ownership of the documents and information you upload. You grant us a limited license to process and store your content solely to provide the service to you (including sending document contents to our AI provider for analysis, as described in our Privacy Policy). We do not claim ownership of your reports or letters.

Reports, letters, and scripts are generated by automated systems and may contain errors or omissions. Treat them as drafts to review and edit, not as final professional work.

The service relies on third parties (including Supabase, OpenAI, Stripe, and Vercel). We are not responsible for their services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mareva and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost savings or amounts you owe on a bill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the case giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mareva and its operators from claims arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service and its users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator is based, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. (Confirm the specific state with your attorney.)

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Unlimited plans (monthly or yearly) cover cases and full reports for your personal and household use — your own medical documents and those of family members you assist. Unlimited plans may not be used to provide services to clients or other third parties, or for any commercial purpose; we may review accounts whose usage indicates commercial use and, after notice, limit or end the subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Manage billing; your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid, and no partial-period refunds are given except where required by law.
